The departure of the 98th edition of the Tour de France will take place in Vendée. The Tour de France 2011 consists of 21 stages for a total distance of 3 430,5 kilometers decomposed as followed: 10 flat stages, 6 mountain stages with 4 mountaintop finishes, 3 cobblestone stages, 1 individual time-trial stage and 1 team time trial stage.
